METARs
METARs are meteorological observations taken in the last five minutes of the hour, every hour.
PFJ
The Polar Front Jet exists anywhere from 200-400mb in the atmosphere.
Thunderstorms
Thunderstorms require MILE: Moisture, Instablity, Lift, and Exhaust.
Skew-T
A Skew-T Log-P diagram is a snapshot of the atmosphere from the surface to 200mb.
The Deep South
Barksdale AFB is located in the northwest corner of Louisiana, in the city of Shreveport.
